Ouch! Glad you're better in time for the trip

Talent Australia has in plenty. And I'm working on every way I can think to make it easier and more worthwhile for people to show that. Any and all suggestions are welcome to stepup@webjam.com.au ;)

@Lachlan - I would have loved to have done something..anything! But I have been working at quarter speed for the last week, with no out of hours work at all (Doctors orders). As you know this means things pile up. I have only today just been give a full bill of health.

I suspect that we do have the talent. It's just getting them to step up to the plate.

I'm shattered you weren't able to pull something together, Gary. Hope your neck is okay!

As for intimidating, that is certainly not the impression we want to give. We encourage anyone and everyone to present. That is one of the reasons why we don't post the full speaker list until the week of the Webjam - it isn't about names or amount of effort, it's about doing cool stuff and rocking out!

I absolutely believe that the Australian web community can sustain a number of Webjams a year. We do amazing things here. Absolutely magical stuff. It is about time we started recognising that and sharing it with the world

Something I heard time and time again at SXSW last week was "you guys are doing some cool stuff in Australia". People can already see that. We just need better ways of broadcasting it. It's one of the reasons we decided to do Webjam

I want Australians to step up and show what they can do!
