Oz-IA/2007 - Sydney, September 22nd/23rd 2007

Well I have been pimping a lot of events on the blog of late. Sorry about this, but it is high conference season here and we just have one conference after another at this time of year, to the point that there is about one a week related to the Web Industry. One conference that was after Web Directions 2006 last year is now before Web Directions South this year.

Yes OZ-IA is on again. The Australian Information Architecture conference. Not blogged much on IA of late, mainly due to a lack on focus on the topics from my part. Things may change on that front.

With Web Directions South 2007 moving rapidly upon us at a nice pace. Wouldn’t it be really great to have one place where you can go for a drink with some of the over 500 attendees on the conference eve.

Where: Quarryman’s Hotel, 216 Harris St (Cnr. Pyrmont Bridge), Pyrmont (map)
When: 6.00pm, September 26th 2007
Cost: FREE!

Well the Australian Web Industry Association is putting on a social networking event Port80 Sydney Meetup, it’s all free, with nibbles. And lots of web folk. There will be a network of geeks people from Port80 Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and Brisbane, and I guess some locals from Sydney too. Plus some of the conference speakers as well.
