I was killing time, waiting, doing the Dad’s Taxi thing. While I waited, I was catching up on Twitter, on my phone, plus reading the various articles from my stream.
You know what is becoming a real pain point.
Non responsive designed web sites. The ones that don’t scale well on mobile devices, sadly they are still the norm.
Especially news and information sites.
Why is it the information on these sites being the major selling point and yet it seems to be very hard to access on a mobile device. it’s not like mobile is new.

No I have not fallen of the face of the earth. It’s just been a little busy of late. Hence no blogging for the last few weeks, sorry about that, but these things do happen from time to time. It’s never been about lack of topics, more the lack of time.
Mind you during this time I have been able to reflect on various things. One of which is the future direction of online social networking.

The book has been out a while. I did first read Mobile Web Design by Cameron Moll a while back via an pdf e-book version on a plane flight. The book is short to the point and very much suited to the electronic media format, with all the links activated when they are referenced, which you would expect.
First off this is not a book that you teach yourself how to code for the mobile web directly step by step. However it is a beginners guide to the mobile web as it stands today (circa 2007). This book is rather a reference guide on where to find the relevant information on mobile web development and the issues that you will face.
